Weddings and Anniversaries
Life is starting to get back to normal...Paola is back, Scott's short summer vacation is over and Michelle's wedding is finished.
On Wednesday, Ethan, Troy and I went to London to visit my friend Erin and her two kids. They recently had a pool put in and the kids had a great time swimming. Ethan was in the water for about 5 hours, he passed out the minute we pulled out of the driveway...I would love to have a pool (and not just because it makes Ethan tired).
Michelle and Kevin got married on August 8th. It turned out to be a fantastic day and a wonderful wedding. My speech wasn't half bad either!! Ethan was allowed to stay for the reception - depending on how well he behaved. As it turned out, he was very good and got to stay until about 10:30 pm- at which time he started to get tired and Scott took him back to Michelle's house. He had a great time dancing - although he seems to have his dad's grace on the dance floor!
Troy is loving eating these days. He eats mostly regular food now and doesn't have much interest in baby food. He had already tried a chocolate chip cookie - seems I am much more relaxed the third time around! He is starting to stand for a couple seconds on his own and can walk around with a walker (although sometimes he has trouble keeping up).

We are starting to get Ethan ready to start JK in a couple of weeks, I don't know where the time has gone. He is looking forward to going, especially because his best little buddy, Aidan, will be in his class.

Olivia is doing well - she loves playing in the water and outside. She is enjoying preschool. She seems to be getting closer to talking too which is exciting. She has some sounds that you know mean something to her but unfortunately we have no clue what she is trying to say.
On Tuesday, Scott and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary by going golfing and out for a quick dinner. We had a great time and despite the fact that I had not golfed in 5 years, he only beat me by one stroke - I think I just got lucky!!
