Happy Halloween
Last night the Olsen's had us over for dinner. Here is part of the crew following a delicious dinner. Michelle and I (with Kevin's help) made a prime rib roast, yummy gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies without my mom's help!! I think the Olsen's needed all day to recover from our visit and the inevitable chaos!!
Troy had a great time trick-o-treating. He went to a couple of houses and was fascinated. He often wanted to go inside the house. He wasn't really interested in staying still - hence the not so great picture. I was exhausted from chasing him/carrying him around the neighbourhood.
Earlier in the day, Troy went to the kids Halloween party in downtown Oakville with Paola, Christina and Syndey (I had to go to the Halloween dance at Ethan's school). The weather was beautiful and he had a great time - Paola said he loved the trick-o-treating part. This picture is great - it is exactly sums up who he is!!
Batman and Darth Vader....Ethan had a very busy Halloween day. It started with a Halloween dance at school (see below). We then went to a classmate's house for a Halloween lunch party. He then had another Halloween party in the afternoon at Nottinghill followed of course with the main event at night. He had a great time. He was so tired by the end that he said he didn't want to go trick-o-treating anymore!!! Our best efforts to get a picture of the three of them together....
Olivia and Paola - what a great picture....she has been so easy to photograph over the past week or two!! She came trick-o-treating as well but spent most of her time in the wagon with Sydney watching everyone.
Here is Ethan at the Halloween dance - he was dancing around a ton, as you can see from this action shot.
This is Mrs. Bertrand, Ethan's JK teacher. Ethan had his first visit to the vice-principle's office this week - him and his two friends, Aidan and Matthew got in trouble for standing up on the bus. He has been a bit of a handful this week with behaviour (there was also a marble throw issue, for which I partly blame Scott) - I am hoping it will pass soon!
It is student interview week, so I am off to work for three days and Scott is going to stay home for two of them -should be interesting!!!
