We'll Miss Nana Wendy!!!
After staying with us for almost three weeks, Nana Wendy is heading back to Victoria. Although I am sure she is looking forward to a little bit of relaxing and nicer weather, we are sure going to miss her. She has been an amazing help to all of us, especially considering my work schedule over the past couple of weeks. Ethan has greatly enjoyed his time with Nana Wendy and has already told me that he is going to be sad that she is leaving. Luckily we will see her again in July at Jen and John's wedding.
Since I have blogged last, things have been busy. Last weekend Ethan had his first sleepover away from home at Auntie Michelle's house. He had a great time, he loves playing with Bailey and Casey. As an added bonus, they have an air hockey table which he loves!! While we only had one child at home, Scott and I left Olivia with Wendy and went to the movies. We went to go see Children of Men, if you haven't seen it yet, don't go!!! That being said, it was nice to go the movies, it has been a long time for me.
On Saturday, we headed down to St. Catharines to celebrate my brother's birthday. Our group of 21 had a great time at the Mandarin. Ethan has decided that he only likes going to the men's public washroom, which posed a little bit of a problem when I tried to take him. Luckily Scott came quickly before he tried to go in on his own. Ethan now rarely has accidents and is even waking up dry in the mornings!! Toilet training was so much easier than I thought it would be!!
Today Wendy, Oliiva and I did some shopping before heading over to meet Scott and Ethan at Uncle Kirk's new condo in Toronto. He has added blinds and some painting since our last visit and the place looks great. Tonight we have our friends the Topolski's, the Thornton's and Walshy over for some chicken wings and Thai food (I know that sounds like a bit of a stange combination, but it was yummy!). It was great to see everyone and Steph gave me a good tip about proper placement of pictures on the blog (however, I am too lazy to try it tonight!). Olivia had fun playing with Truman and Christine. Christine was a great sharer with Olivia, she is getting big and looks more like a toddler now!!
Here are some pictures from the past week or two!!!
